The thrive Performance, Conditioning & Strength Specialist Course (PCSS) is thrive Academies elite fitness certification, and our most complete advanced fitness and athletics training program.

 

In this 2 day coaching course we will dive deep into the many aspects of fitness, conditioning, strength, sports psychology/mindset & lifestyle management, mobility, assessments and more. With over 20 years of experience, you will discover how to avoid many of the mistakes many coaches make early in their careers, and how to optimize programs for client results.

METCON LEVEL 1 TRAINERS COURSE

The METCON Level One trainer certification course takes students through the principles and methodology of METCON.

 

Students will learn the fundamental movements of the METCON methodology, as well as programming, using the METCON programming matrix, scaling exercises, and conducting METCON for clients and group classes.

Students will:

  • Learn the use the methods of METCON with their clients.

  • Receive licence to open their own METCON Gym or METCON program.

  • Learn scaling of the fundamental METCON exercises.

  • Learn higher level coaching fundamentals.

  • Learn how to use METCON in group training.

HOW DO I GET CERTIFIED?

The METCON L1 certification course is a full 1 day course that combines both theory and practical drills. 

 

All your materials, and graduating certificate, will be delivered as a soft copy booklet and all testing will be done in course. 

To receive your certificate students are expected to:

  • Attend the entire 1 day course.

  • Read over your 1 E-manual delivered at the course.

  • Complete all workouts

  • Complete all coaching drills

  • Complete the small group practical test
